Alf Pearce Reserve Fenced Dog Park
A great place to take your pet to have fun and play either off or on the leash. Your puppy can enjoy the smaller enclosure to stay away from large dogs since the two enclosures are separate available for dogs to play in. Of course, you are able to let your dog off the lead provided you keep the control and ensure that there are no disturbances. The enclosure is fully secured with multiple entrances to allow entry or exit at any moment via a gate-like transition cage (which prevents dogs from leaving in the enclosed area). The owners are very welcoming and have a chat with one another which is a lot of entertainment while dogs are enjoying each others’ company as well.
A large dog park that includes an area for running around and a time-out area. There’s also an areas for agility, water taps seating, and a the rocky mound.
The facilities comprise:
- A runabout area that is comprised of a low-maintenance gravel sand that can endure high traffic and drainage to avoid flooding and areas of mud. It has a variety of sitting areas for dog owners, a drinking fountains, bins, litter bags for dogs, and garden beds that have shade trees.
- A place to allow smaller and older dogs to recover from the more extensive space that is fenced. This could include seating, double access entrance bins, bins for baggies for dog waste, an internal entrance gate for drinking fountain shade trees and garden beds.
- An agility area equipped with seats, training tools,, and screen plants to create an environment that is quieter for dog owners to teach their dogs.
- The bushland plantation is located to the north end of the property to reduce the noise and provide shade for the seating area, as well as another type of surface for dogs to walk on.
- A rocky mound that is surrounded by landforms and rocks to create a seating area that can also provide a the dogs with a variety of levels to enhance agility and confidence in height differences.
- Planting to reduce the noise of the freeway and increase the amenity of the northern path.
Alf Pearce Park It is located on the upper end of Bulla road. It is partially closed with the Tullamarine freeway, which means that there are just two streets that border it instead of four. It is not utilized for any organized sporting events and is situated in the region of the Essendon/Strathmore.

– It can reduce the possibility of dog owners let their dogs off the lead within ON the lead zones.
Helps keep off-leash dogs from irritating other park users
It reduces the risk of dogs straying onto roads, leading to accidents.
Dogs could stop criminals
