Our college is a Catholic coeducational college located on two campuses in Broadmeadows or Glenroy. The Josephite tradition of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop is what we teach the youth of the north-western suburb of Melbourne. We are a Catholic school that is supported by seven Member Parishes located in the inner north west region of Melbourne. These parishes include Broadmeadows and Dallas, Fawkner North as well as  Gladstone Park, Hadfield, Glenroy, Hadfield, Gladstone Park, Oak Park, and Fawkner North. As part of the church, we are committed to the faith development of our community. We partner with parents who share primary responsibility for their children’s faith development. The Gospel values and the role model of Jesus Christ as well as the Charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop are the core of our school.

Our College is dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential. Students can choose from a variety of academic and vocational options. Our extensive Co-curricular program enables us to recognize the talents and gifts of every student.

Our school community must ensure that everyone feels welcome. We strive to foster a sense of belonging among all Penola Catholic College students. Our College is known for its pastoral care for individual students. The Student Services department is an important component of the College. We have a wealth of facilities that are unmatched and I am confident you will be impressed with what we have to provide.

All those who are new to Penola this year, I hope you feel welcome. As you begin your journey, I hope that you feel at home and will see the school you chose for your children as a place where you can make lasting friendships, learn from their experiences, and take full advantage of the many opportunities that will enable them to discover their unique talents and strengths.
